I am currently accepting books to be reviewed. However, due to the large number of requests I receive I cannot promise a timeline of when the reviews will be posted. Also, all reviews will be honest. I do post one star reviews and leave constructive feedback within my reviews. Please review previously posted reviews before contacting me.
I am a very eclectic reader. However, well written and edited works in my preferred genre will be given top priority. You may submit works outside my preferred categories although they may not be reviewed in a timely fashion. While YA is not a preferred categories I do tend to read a lot of YA or NA books due to their popularity and overall quality writing.
Preferred Genre Urban Fantasy Fantasy Science Fiction - all types Speculative Fiction Science - strong preference for psychology, astronomy, physics Mental Health - scientific or memiors Education
Book Format I accept digital books as well as print books. I typically read on my Kindle so my preferred method is Kindle gifted books. They can be sent to thebookreclusereview @ gmail.com. I also will accept epub books. You may send pdf copies as well, although they are less likely to be read. You can contact me here.
Paper books are more likely to be featured on my Instagram account (and YouTube although I am still very new). You can mail them to me directly at: MJ (The Book Recluse Review) 11138 Del Amo Blvd #265 Lakewood, CA 90715
If you are interested in doing a sponsored post please contact me directly with the services desired. I can host cover reveals, book spotlights, book blitzs, and social media tours. I typically charge $30 for a book spotlight and social media tour. Although, exact rates can be discussed. I do not make money off of blogging, all funds go to support operational costs.
This site may contain affiliate links, these links refer back to products. They do not cost the consumer any additional money. They do help fund the blog. In addition, some books may be provided to the site for free in exchange for an honest review, others come from the library, others are obtained for free off Amazon, some come from my private purchase. Regardless of how the books were obtained all reviews are my honest opinion.
