I have had my blog for over three years now. I started on blogger and switched over to Weebly. I started my blog as a way to connect to others while I was reading. Except there is not much connecting with a blog.
I have been thinking about moving my site again. This time to WordPress. It would be a massive project. I would have to move everything by hand basically.
My other thought is just to cancel my blog. It seems like blogs are so old school. I should be moving to BookTube. Except I do not want to. I am a writer. I have no desire to see myself on a screen. I also do not even have a home computer, so editing software would be difficult.
I could stay on Instagram and other social media, spending more time on Goodreads.
I could also also keep my blog. It just seems like a lot of work for something no one reads. My numbers have been declining. I was almost at 2k weekly views and now maintain closer to 700/800.
I have enourmous amounts of requests to review to review books or to participate in book tours, but that is about the only contact I get. I had to stop responding to the requests when it became overwhelming.
I have not decided what to do. I may just take a break for a month to make my decision.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
