I started 2019 with more books on my TBR then I could possibly ever read. So, that meant I had to read more. I finished my 11 book list (although Amber & Dust was barely finished on time) and managed to read an additional three books. I also started Six of Crows. I probably would have had enough time to finish it this month if I was not burnt out on reading. So, I took a break the last week and will pick up Six of Crows in February, even though it is not on my official TBR list then either.
January was focused on finishing Mark Lawrence's books. As he so nicely pointed out to me on Twitter, I still have not tackled his short story collection. Do not be surprised if you see a review for them pop up now and then. I love the way he write short stories and plan to read them. He also has quite a few books releasing this year. He is one of those authors that never allows you to catch up on their work.
I also focused a lot on Marie Lu. I am almost finished with her books. There are two more books and her graphic novels that I will be reading in February. I am excited for all of them.
What was your favorite read for January? Link up the review if you have one.
