My Cyber Monday Finds

11/30/2018

Amazon had some really good Kindle Cyber Monday deals. I wish I could have bought more, but I only have so big of a budget for books. Below are the books that I did pick up. A few I have already read, but borrowed from the Library. I picked up the Kindle version of Vox even though I own it in Hardcover. I paid full price for the Hardcover - the only book I have done that for this year. It was worth every penny.

I have had this book on hold on the library forever. I have heard amazing things about her work, I even follow her on Twitter. Yet, I have not yet read anything by her. I was excited to be able to pick this up.

I love Scalzi. I have been eyeing this series forever. I picked up this book on Kindle and the second book at audible. I do not like cross formating series, but that was where they were on sale. Scalzi is one of the authors I am considering bing reading next.

I will be honest. I did not love Simon vs the Homosapian Agenda. Apparently, I haven't even posted a review for it yet. I need to do that. I still wanted to read the sequel. It was a great deal so I bought it. I am not sure I will reread it, but it was worth the price of even one read.

I am not even sure what this book is. It looked familiar and was highly recommended by Amazon. I think the cover really sold me. Have you read this book? If so, what did you think?

I have read this. You can read my review here. I actually thought of buying this book in hardcover. Yet, seeing it in person made me not pick it up. It is not a small book. I knew I would eventually buy it on Kindle. Having it be on sale made it happen sooner. Now I can reread before the second book comes out!

I love this book! It is a dystopian book focused on the oppression of women. I think part of the reason that I enjoy it so much is because it is timely. However, it is also well written and engaging. Well worth rebuying on Kindle. How have I not written a review for this? I really need to catch up!
