I have been really bad and planning out my books a month at a time. I decided that I would do something different and just let you know the next five books that I was planning on reading. These are books that I already have ready to read. I like knowing which book I plan on moving to next.
Wonder by R.J. Palacio
I have wanted to read this book for a while. I have it from the library and want to finish it before it is due back. Hopefully I will get to it before the nine days are up.
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
This is another library book that is due next week. I may be pushing my luck to get this book on my TBR list since it is also due back in ten days. Both Wonder and Turtle All the Way Down are Kindle books, so again I am not actually sure I will be able to finish before it is due back.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
I heard about this series on the BookTube channel Readbyzoe. I decided to give the series a try. This is also a library book, but it is an audio book and not due for two weeks. I only have 30 minutes left on my current book. I have no doubt I will have this one finished before it is due back.
The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden
This is another audiobook. I read a lot by audio book now. It is easy to throw in earphones while I am working out on lunch. Also, my youngest daughter has started listening when I am driving. Sometimes I am actually able to listen while I am working on less intellectually stimulating parts of my job. This book was recommended by a co-worker. I have since heard it mentioned a few times. I am interesting in seeing my opinion on it.
Foundation and the Empire by Issac Asimov
I wanted to add at least one of my paper TBR books to my list. The second book in the Foundation book was the winner. It has also been on my TBR list the longest - so it is fair. I am actually excited to read it. I do not know why it has taken me so long to get it started.
In a way I am surprised by my list. I have been trying to read the completed works of authors, and most of these authors are new to me, or I have not really reviewed recently. I think as I work on catching up on my blogs a lot more of my books in the future will be repeat authors so I can build more author pages. Although, the N.E.W.T. Challenge will take precedence next.
Have you ready any of these books? What are your thoughts?
