Weekly Wrap Up: February 11, 2019

Like everyone else, I spent this last week sick. It was not the type of sick that let my lounge in bed reading. Instead, it was the function to get everything done to let my household run and then pass out. 

I did not end up reading all that much more this week. I finished reading The Bird & The Blade early this week. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Historical fiction is not usually my go to, but this book was interesting and well written. 

I also started two books this week. I am nearly finished with The Rose Society, the second book in the Young Elite's series by Marie Lu. I also started Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. This book is pretty epic. 

On a side note, did you know that the Amazon Echo will read your Kindle books via Text to Speech? I found this out thanks to Twitter. It was great for my sick day when I could barely move. If you do not mind Text to Speech, then this is an amazing feature.
